Housekeeping Supervisor
This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting, cleaning and redistributing the Community laundry.
- Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition
Requirements for this job include:
- Must have previous Housekeeping experience in a resort, hotel, or medical setting.
- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Registered Nurse
Freedom Village is seeking two part-time RNs, one for morning and one for evenings working every other weekend.
All skilled nursing employees will receive shift differentials during the evening and night shifts.
The starting range for RN’s is $40/hr.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency call lights, inside the skilled nursing center.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering medication and treatments to residents at the healthcare center.
- Assist with admission and discharge process
- Keep physician and family aware of change(s) in resident condition
- Make rounds with physicians and transcribes orders
- Assure continuity of services and care
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse with a current license in community’s state
- 6 months experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Concierge
Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a Full Time Hospitality Concierge with a Medical Assistant/EMT/CAN/Medication Aide background to work Full-Time overnight 11 PM to 7 AM.
The Independent Living Concierge team greets residents, employees and guests warmly, by name and professionally and treat everyone with courteous respect.
They are a vital resource of medical knowledge for residents and staff when necessary to handle or support responding to medical emergencies within the independent living setting.
This position greets residents, employees and guests and strives to anticipate their needs and acts accordingly.
They listen to medical concerns in an efficient manner. This person is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of emergency first aid and care rendered.
They are responsible for medication reminders and can assist in direct resident care as necessary.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Being a team player
- Generating a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors
- Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Preferred skills and qualifications include:
- C.N.A. or Certified Medication Aide, Medical Assistant, or EMT experience is strongly preferred for when responding to medical emergencies
- At least six months medical and customer service experience. Geriatric and/or emergency involvement preferable
