On June 25, 2024, we joined with over 100 healthcare professionals, CSOs, mobility advocates, and climate advocates from the country’s health sector gathered for the “Ride For Their Lives bike ride to advance initiatives prioritizing planetary health amid the 25th anniversary of the Clean Air Act Philippines. Organized by Health Care Without Harm Southeast Asia, HACCAP, and 350 Pilipinas. Air pollution presents an immediate challenge in the Philippines, not only it is a significant health concern globally, as the World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that nearly everyone on the planet breathes air tainted with pollutants. Air pollution presents a tangible impact, as transportation fueled by fossil fuels- accounts to the majority of the air pollution in the Philippines. Intricately, it is linked with climate change as emission of pollutants alongside greenhouse gasses from human activities creates a complex web of environmental challenges and constant health implications to the communities. 🎯 As a first-timer at the Goal Deployment Matrix (GDM) event, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere of synergy, collaboration, and shared purpose. 🧑‍💼 Surrounded by site leadership team, fellow managers, and functional leaders, I was struck by their energy and enthusiasm. From the moment I stepped into the event location, I could sense the palpable synergy among the team. ♨️ Despite coming from different departments and backgrounds, we shared a common vision and purpose, working seamlessly together to align our efforts and resources towards achieving shared objectives. 🧑‍💻 In addition to the site leadership team, the GDM event also provided an opportunity for collaboration among managers and functional leaders from across the organization. 💡 Through breakout sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions, participants had the chance to share insights, best practices, and innovative ideas for achieving their respective goals. 🥁 It was inspiring to see individuals from different parts of the organization come together, leveraging their collective expertise and experience to drive meaningful change and progress. ⚒️ At the heart of the GDM event was the Goal Deployment Matrix itself—a powerful tool for aligning organizational goals with departmental objectives and individual responsibilities. 📊 By visualizing the cascading goals and priorities across different levels of the organization, the GDM provided clarity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that everyone was aligned and focused on the same overarching objectives. 🤔 As I reflect on my experience at the (GDM) event, I'm struck by the transformative power of collaboration and synergy in driving organizational success. 🔥 By bringing together the site leadership team, managers, and functional leaders in a shared forum, the GDM event fostered a culture of alignment, accountability, and collective action. 🚀 Moving forward, I'm excited to see the impact of this collaboration as we work together to achieve our goals and drive our organization to new heights of excellence. #leadership #business #management #culture #innovation

Humbled and deeply honored to have shared my insights on the need to strengthen self-regulation in advertising, alongside some of the most well-respected Key Opinion Leaders in the industry.
