Less than a week after the US presidential elections, Synergy – YouGov conducted a research to check on the sentiments of Filipinos last Nov 11-12, 2024. Here’s what we found: 1. The US elections is the top event/concern/issue in their minds at the time. 2. Filipinos shared a wide range of emotions, but on overall, the sentiments were predominantly positive. 3. This year’s US elections may be deemed more impactful to the Philippines than the last election though it is not a strong feeling (only 19% said much more impactful out of the 72%) Ponderables: What role can corporate social responsibility play in reinforcing brand trust during periods of heightened political awareness?
