The One Day at a Time star, 64, shared her hopes of being a grandma on the latest episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, though she also noted that she doesn’t want to pressure her son Wolfgang Van Halen into having kids anytime soon. When host Jennifer Hudson asked the cookbook author about when she'll become a grandma, Bertinelli placed her finger to her mouth and said, “Shhhh.” “Only because I’m doing my very, very best to not be one of those parents or moms that’s just like, you know, ‘You just got married, so when’s the baby coming?,’ “ she explained. I want to be a grammy, you know, all of those [things],” she continued. “But I also need to respect [my son and his wife Andraia Allsop] and let them enjoy their life.” She also went on to discuss her Mother’s Day plans and said that she is currently planning on “doing nothing” for the holiday. Bertinelli previously shared clips from the event during a year-in-review Instagram post, including one of her dancing with a wedding guest and a selfie of her and other attendees. "I have so much gratitude for my family and friends, finally being able to freely spend time with them has been such a big source of comfort, joy, hilarity, and healing. I love them all so," she captioned the post. Bertinelli played an important role in the nuptials, walking her son down the aisle to an instrumental song called "316," which was written for him by his late father Eddie Van Halen.
