The "U Got It Bad" singer, 45, and the "Act a Fool" artist, 46, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Usher's 2004 track "Yeah!" — which features Ludacris and Lil Jon — went 13 times platinum. On Monday, Ludacris initially shared a post on the social media platform revealing the song had accumulated 13 million units on Feb. 9 — just two days before the the duo's 2024 Super Bowl performance of "Yeah" — along with an image of a Spotify plaque he recently received revealing the track set a new record earning 1 billion streams. He wrote, "That DAMN SUPER BOWL EFFECT Was The Cherry On Top 🙏🏾 CONGRATS to my brothers @usher @liljon @seangarrettpen & ALL THE FANS THAT MADE THIS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SONGS IN HISTORY!!!" Usher chimed in on the good news on Tuesday by quote tweeting his collaborator's post. "We did that bro 💪🏾🔥 Thank U to everyone who ever pressed play!!" he replied. Usher Says 'It Would Be Foolish' to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show Without Inviting Lil Jon and Ludacris According to Billboard, this is the first time Usher, Ludacris and Lil Jon have all had a song that accumulated 1 billion Spotify streams. The eight-time Grammy winner's catalog has experienced a streaming boost in the days since his Super Bowl halftime show, with "Yeah!" at the forefront. From Feb. 11-12, the track has earned 4.8 million official on-demand U.S. streams, which increased from the 2.3 million streams during Feb. 9-10, per Billboard. Usher's set at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 featured an all-star lineup of special guests. He kicked things off with Alicia Keys, who initially sang her own track "If I Ain't Got You," before joining the headliner for a rendition of their song "My Boo."
