'Teen Wolf' 's Tyler Posey on Why He's Not Ready to Date Again After Ending His Engagement

Tyler Posey still hasn’t fully made peace with the fact that he’s no longer engaged to his childhood sweetheart, Seana Gorlick.

“I still really miss her,” the Teen Wolf star says in the current issue of PEOPLE. “I can’t believe I have an ex-fiancée.”

In 2013, at 22 years old, Posey proposed to Gorlick after 10 years of being “in love.” But by the end of the following year, the engagement was off.

Since then, Posey has been hesitant to get back in the dating scene.

“A year after the breakup, I said, ‘Okay. I’m going to see if I’m ready to get back into relationships.’ But I wasn’t ready,” he explains.

The actor and host says he’s been dating casually but isn’t looking to settle down again any time soon.

“I’ve never been a player or into one-night stands,” he says. “I need to be single for a little while. I need time to grow.”
