Steve Harvey may be 59 years old, but that doesn’t mean he can’t find something in common with a 3-year-old.

“Your pants are black and my pants are black,” James Tufts, the 3-year-old mayor of Dorset, Minn. tells Harvey in a Little Big Shots preview clip exclusive to PEOPLE.

And the comparisons didn’t stop there: “We’ve both got on black shoes,” Harvey observes in the interview, which will air on Sunday’s episode of the hit NBC kids’ talent show.

But the interview wasn’t all softball questions and observations. Harvey stumped the young mayor with this question: “How old is your brother?”

Luckily, Tuft’s brother Robert was in the audience to give the answer by holding up six fingers.

Tufts will appear on Little Big Shots on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
