Jordyn Woods Says She 'Was Bullied by the World' During Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal

It's the first time Woods has spoken publicly about her alleged affair with Thompson since appearing on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk

Jordyn Woods may have moved on from her alleged affair with Tristan Thompson, but she isn’t forgetting the harsh backlash she received surrounding the scandal.

During a panel in Lagos, Nigeria, Woods, 21, said that she was “bullied by the world” after her friendship with Kylie Jenner and the entire Kardashian family dissolved after news broke that the model allegedly hooked up with Khloé Kardashian‘s NBA baller ex during an afterparty at his house in February.

“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” Woods said during the interview, according to audience videos clips obtained by The Daily Mail.

“I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman — in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have lived it,” Woods explained.

Woods previously shared her side of the story in a tell-all interview on family friend Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Facebook show Red Table Talk.

Woods alleged that Thompson, 28, whom Kardashian, 34, shares daughter True with, kissed her at an afterparty at his house on Feb. 17. Though she adamantly denied having sex with him, she admitted that the next day, while she told Jenner, 21, and Kardashian that she had been at Thompson’s house, she didn’t disclose what had happened between them.

Kardashian slammed Woods on Twitter after the interview, blaming her for breaking up her family, but she softened her tone a day later and placed the fault instead on Thompson.

“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have,” she tweeted on March 2. “Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.”

“What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me,” she admitted. “Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”

Woods, who had to move out of Kylie’s house, remains estranged from the family, and a source recently told PEOPLE that Woods and Kylie have had limited contact.

Despite the recent complications in their friends, Woods has nothing but love for Jenner.

The model was seen at LAX airport with her mother Elizabeth in Los Angeles Thursday, where she took photos with fans, signed autographs and opened up — albeit only slightly — about the rift between her and the Kardashian/Jenner family.

When asked if she was grateful for the support she has received from Will and Jada Pinkett Smith‘s family, Woods told paparazzi in a video shared by TMZ, “Honestly, the whole world’s support is amazing.”

As for whether she still has affection for her one-time best friend Kylie? “Always. I love Kylie always,” she eventually said, after some prodding by the TMZ camera operator.

Elizabeth chimed in at the end as the duo got on an escalator, telling the cameras, “We love you, Kylie.”

Nonetheless, it doesn’t appear that the tension between Woods and the Kardashian/Jenners has subsided.

Last Saturday, she showed up to the McDonald’s Bootsy Bellows Coachella pre-party near Palm Springs, California, where she awkwardly ran into Kendall Jenner — and the uncomfortable moment was evident to nearly everyone attending the bash.

“It was such an awkward moment, everyone saw it,” the insider recalled, adding that their tables were within direct eyeshot of each other.

“They made eye contact and you could see that they all thought this is awkward — they were saying it with their eyes and body language,” the source added. “It wasn’t hard to see the tension and the awkwardness.”
