Joe Jonas and His Band DNCE Join the Cast of 'Grease: Live'

The Jonas brother's quartet will reprise roles played in the 1978 film by Sha Na Na

They were born to hand jive, baby.

Joe Jonas and his DNCE bandmates have officially joined the cast of FOX’s Grease: Live, PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly can exclusively reveal.

The quartet band will take the stage at Rydell High’s school dance as Johnny Casino and the Gamblers (portrayed by the group Sha Na Na in the 1978 film).

The foursome will be joining a star-studded cast that includes Julianne Hough as Sandy, Les Misérables actor Aaron Tveit as Danny, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy, Dancing with the Stars contender Carlos Penavega as Kenickie and Keke Palmer as Marty. Jessie J will open the show with a special arrangement of “Grease (Is the Word).”

Grease: Live will air Jan. 31 on Fox.
