Tom Holland can't get enough of Zendaya's 2024 Met Gala appearance.

Though the actor didn't attend fashion's biggest night on May 6 alongside his girlfriend, he took to Instagram on May 7 to shout out her over-the-top looks, including the first one she hit the carpet wearing — a head-turning blue and green gown by Maison Margiela’s John Galliano. Holland posted a picture of Zendaya, who co-chaired the evening, to his grid with three heart-eyes emojis.

Always one to understand the fashion assignment, the 27-year-old Euphoria star’s ensemble paid homage to the theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and dress code of “The Garden of Time" with her first look.

She then switched into a black off-the-shoulder corset gown with a long train. The dress is a never-worn archival look by John Galliano for Givenchy created in 1996. She wore it with a massive foral headpiece fitting of the evening's theme.

Zendaya capped off the night with a custom beaded Celia Kritharioti gown inside the party that had a daring neckline and floaty skirt. Of course the actress had to switch into a dress that was easy enough to party in!

The 2024 Met Gala theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” ties into the upcoming Costume Institute exhibit that will feature approximately 250 items — including 15 significant pieces such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown — that span over 400 years of history.

According to Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of the Costume Institute, the exhibition will be shaped around three main “zones”— Land, Sea, and Sky — that pay tribute to the natural world. “It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” he said.

The dress code for the 2024 Met Gala is “The Garden of Time,” inspired by J.G. Ballard story of the same name.

The red carpet date night marks Zendaya’s return to the Met Gala after a five-year hiatus. She’s previously attended five Galas and her risk-taking looks have made her a highly anticipated guest.

The couple first sparked romance rumors while working together in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, but they didn’t confirm their relationship until five years later in 2021. They’ve since kept their romance low profile but support each other on social media and at each other’s events.

Plus, they’re not afraid to gush about one another in interviews.

In a clip from Zendaya’s puppy interview with Buzzfeed, the Challengers actress was asked who from the Dune cast has the most "rizz." She replied that "everybody's got their own," and instead of choosing a costar, called out Holland for being "naturally good" at talking to people.

“I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but personally works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.” she said. “I’m more shy and kind of quiet. So it takes a bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he’s great at just talking to people, getting to know people.”
