On Tuesday, Australian police issued a statement to officers that they had "conducted an investigation following a report of an assault," and there would be "no further police action" taken, per RTE. On Feb. 26, Australian photographer Ben McDonald claimed that he had been taking photos of the "Lavender Haze" singer, 34, and her entourage while celebrating her sold-out shows in Melbourne. McDonald claimed that an umbrella from Swift's security was shoved in his face to prevent photographs from being taken while the group was heading down the jetty into a vehicle. "Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water," Taylor's rep told PEOPLE in a statement. In a statement to PEOPLE, police — who could not confirm the identities of those involved at the time — said they were investigating an "alleged assault after a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf." "The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment," police said. Throughout the Eras Tour, Scott has been spotted at his daughter's record-breaking tour since it first kicked off last spring. During the tour, he's been seen handing out food to fans and mingling with Taylor's boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
