"It just has been priceless for us," Taylor, 31, told PEOPLE exclusively while co-hosting the first Lemons Foundation Charity Gala in Los Angeles with his wife, Tay, on Monday. He continued, "My mental health journey recently has been great, because I'm not pushing things down and burying things. I'm talking about them. I'm being open about them." The Twilight alum went on to add that having conversations with other people has helped both him and Tay realize that "we're not alone." "We're having those conversations with other people, which also leads to learning and realizing that one, we're not alone," he added. Taylor also shared that through speaking with guests about their struggles they've also learned "a little bit about ourselves." Tay, a mental health and self care advocate, shared that she agreed with her husband about the positive impact the podcast has had on their mental health so far. "I feel like we're both in a very good spot together, and jamming out work, and life and relationships. It's been good," she said. Taylor and Tay Lautner.
