Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder (né Stevland Hardaway Morris) is an American musician. He rose to fame after the release of his single "Fingertips," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 when Wonder was only 13 years old. He is the youngest artist to ever have a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Wonder has had seven other singles reach No. 1 on the Hot 100, including "Superstition," "You Are the Sunshine of My Life," "You Haven't Done Nothin'," "I Wish," "Sir Duke," "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and "Part-Time Lover. His most famous songs also include "Uptight (Everything's Alright)," "I Was Made to Love Her," "My Cherie Amour," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," "What Christmas Means to Me" and "Higher Ground." Both Wonder's 1974 album, Fulfillingness' First Finale, and his 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Wonder is one of only two artists who have won the Grammy Award for album of the year three times, and he holds the record for most Grammy Awards won by a solo artist (25). Wonder also won an Academy Award for Best Song for "I Just Called to Say I Love You" from the 1984 film The Woman in Red. Wonder is an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2014. Blind since shortly after birth, Wonder is known for his concern for humanitarian issues and for his advocacy to make published works accessible to people who are blind, visually impaired or have other print disabilities.
