Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo is an American actor. He first gained recognition for acting in the play This Is Our Youth (1998) and for starring in the Oscar-nominated film You Can Count on Me (2000). He starred in a number of romantic comedies in the 2000s, including 13 Going on 30 (2004), Just Like Heaven (2005) and Rumor Has It (2005). Ruffalo joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe's team of Avengers in 2012, playing Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk, in many of the superhero films. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards for best supporting actor for the movies The Kids Are All Right (2010), Foxcatcher (2014) and Spotlight (2015). Ruffalo is a noted activist, devoting time and resources to numerous environmental, social and political causes.
