John Legend

John Roger Stephens, known by his stage name John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. He first worked as a studio musician for big-name acts like Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys, but soon after rose to fame with his 2004 debut album Get Lifted, which was later certified double platinum. He's been nominated for 33 Grammy awards, winning 12. He's also won major awards for his work in television, movies, and theater, making him the first Black man in history to win an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony), which he achieved in 2018. He's been married to TV personality, model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen since 2013. The couple have two children together, Luna and Miles. In 2019 Legend was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive.
