Brittany Murphy

Brittany Murphy was an American actress and singer who rose to fame in the popular 1995 film, Clueless. Murphy is also widely known for her roles in the movies, Girl, Interrupted, 8 Mile and Sin City. She tragically passed away in 2009. Though the official cause of her sudden death was attributed to pneumonia, the circumstances of her passing have been disputed, particularly following the death of her screenwriter husband Simon Monjack just months later. The mysterious link between their deaths was further explored in the HBO documentary, What Happened, Brittany Murphy?.
