Billy Bob Thornton

Billy Bob Thornton is an American actor. He rose to fame after co-writing and starring in the 1992 thriller One False Move. In 1997, he won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay after writing, directing and starring in Sling Blade (1996). He went on to appear in notable films like Primary Colors (1998), Armageddon (1998), A Simple Plan (1998), Monster's Ball (2001), Bad Santa (2003) and Friday Night Lights (2004). He also starred in the freshman season of FX's Fargo, for which he won a Golden Globe in 2015, and Amazon Prime's Goliath, which earned him a second Golden Globe in 2017.
