Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens Pose for Cute Mirror Selfie in Texas 'Dream Home' amid Construction

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’ dream house may not be finished yet, but they’re already making it a home!

On Saturday, Aug. 31, the Olympic gymnast, 27, and Chicago Bears safety, 29, cuddled up for a selfie in what appeared to be a mirror-covered ceiling in their under-construction Texas home, which they have been working on for the past year.

Biles, who posted the selfie on her Instagram Stories, also shared another glimpse into the ongoing project — a photo of Owens standing in front of a black marble fireplace, over which she wrote a sweet message.

“Building our dream home 🥹,” she captioned the snap, which shows her holding hands with the NFL player.

“So lucky to do this thing called life with you 💋,” Biles added.

Biles’ selfie and new glimpse at the couple’s house comes not long after the athlete shared another construction update.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, Biles shared a video to give a brief look at the waterfront residence’s nearly finished kitchen.

“So excited to make this house a HOME ... a couple more months:),” she wrote over the clip, in which she panned across the couple’s monochrome kitchen featuring black and white marble countertops and white cabinets.

The same day, the pro gymnast also shared the to-do list she was working through after the kitchen. Alongside a mirror selfie, she wrote, “House meetings all day.”

Then, in a list, she revealed what the meetings were about — everything from landscaping and pool plans to audio and security amenities for the Texas home.

Biles has been giving her followers an inside look of her and Owens’ home-building journey since last summer, starting from the ground up.

The very first post came in early September 2023, when she posted a photo of just wooden framework and concrete floors, and wrote, "Loading… 🏠🤍🛠.”

Along with the construction milestones, Biles has also kept it real about the setbacks the couple has faced. “I cannot deal anymore,” she wrote on one Instagram Stories post in November 2023, revealing that a few unexpected issues had cropped up during a "trim walk.”

“Yesterday I was here from 11am-5pm…..🥴,” she wrote over a video of the home. “I thought it was going to be a 30 minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into.”

Biles and her football player beau began working on their “dream home” shortly after they tied the knot in a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in May 2023 — though they had officially wed on April 22, 2023, at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston.

The couple officially met via the dating app Raya in March 2020 and got engaged in February 2022.
