Ahead of celebrating her 29th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 31, the pregnant Kansas City Current co-owner had a special dinner with friends and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, 28. Sharing some highlights from the outing on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Aug. 30, Brittany first shared a photo of several of her friends sitting at a table in a restaurant with balloons, including two that showed the number 29, behind them. “Birthday dinner with my girlies,” she wrote over the image, tagging in her friends Melissa Mathews and Lyndsay Bell. The image also showed special menus on the table in front of the two women that appeared to have 'Britt's Birthday' written on them. As well as celebrating with her friends and husband, Brittany also had a special sweet treat to mark her birthday — in the form of a gorgeous birthday cake adorned with candles and sparklers. It had been placed on a stand that also featured bowls of dessert topped with cotton candy. The soon-to-be mom of three's early birthday celebrations come after she spoke about preparing for the arrival of her third child, and what it's like being a pregnant mom of two on the Aug. 28 episode of the Whoop podcast. Brittany said on the podcast that she and Patrick are "excited to have another little kiddo running around our house causing chaos." and revealed that she manages her daily routine and her pregnancy sleep schedule while parenting her two little ones. "I need naps," she said. "So I like to work my naps into my schedule now, because when you’re pregnant you’re tired." The Sports Illustrated model also explained that her ability to rest while pregnant has alterted as her family has grown. "With the first pregnancy, it was just me. So I could take naps, sleep all day, you know, I had nothing priority for me to do," she said on the podcast. "Then, with Bronze, it was like, ‘Well, I have to take care of this kid but I’m tired,’ so I would just nap when she napped." "Now I have two kids to take care of, but they do nap at the same time, so I’m able to nap with them. But I am definitely a little bit more tired. Some days I wake up and I’m feeling absolutely horrible," Brittany added. Close
