Some of Hollywood’s biggest names – Leonardo DiCaprio, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez and several other A-listers – attended a fundraiser for the presumptive Democratic nominee. The event was held at entertainment heavyweight Harvey Weinstein‘s New York City home. Also in attendance at the glam event were Parker’s husband Matthew Broderick, Martha Stewart, Bethenny Frankel, Candice Bergen and celebrity fashion designer Vera Wang. Many of the fundraiser attendees have directly endorsed Clinton in previous months: Parker has been outspoken about her support for the former Secretary of State since before Clinton announced her presidential campaign and Lopez included a snippet of one of Clinton’s speeches in the music video for her latest single “Ain’t Your Mama.” Stars Show Their Support for Presumptive Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton’ Clinton attended Monday’s event shortly after leaving Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital, where daughter Chelsea gave birth to her second child, son Aidan, on Saturday. “What a joy being with our new grandson, Aidan. So grateful,” Clinton tweeted on Sunday alongside a picture of her and husband Bill holding their second grandchild. Since defeating Vermont senator Bernie Sanders to become the presumptive Democratic nominee, Clinton has turned her focus to pushing ahead of Republican candidate Donald Trump in the general election. She is also expected to be deciding on a running mate soon, before the Democratic National Convention takes place in Philadelphia on July 27. Close
