Paul Mescal Puts His Arm Around Gracie Abrams as They Cuddle During Double Date with Daisy Edgar-Jones at Festival

Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams had a cozy concert date to wrap up the summer.

The couple was spotted cuddling at the All Points East Festival in London's Victoria Park on Sunday, Aug. 18. Mescal, 28, put his arm around Gracie, 24, while they enjoyed music from Mitski.

The actor wore a white t-shirt and Yankees baseball cap, while the Eras Tour opener could be seen in a darker shirt with her hair pulled back.

Mescal's Normal People costar Daisy Edgar-Jones and her boyfriend Ben Seed joined the pair for the set.

The musician and actor were previously spotted earlier in the day London. They were walking and holding hands while laughing. At one point, Abrams jokingly took a loving nibble on Mescal's finger.

An insider told PEOPLE in August that the couple are "hooking up" and are still in the "early stages" of their relationship.

They first sparked dating rumors in June when they were photographed together grabbing lunch at a London restaurant, as per TMZ. Abrams and Mescal were spotted in London again after their intimate date, according to Deuxmoi and Daily Mail. 

Mescal previously dated Phoebe Bridgers. They first connected on X (formerly Twitter) in May 2020 and were rumored to have broken up in late 2022.

In "Ghost in the Machine," a collaboration between Bridgers and SZA, lyrics were thought to have insinuated that the couple called it quits. In February 2023, Mescal wouldn't comment on the status of their relationship during a Vanity Fair interview.

Abrams, meanwhile, was in a relationship with musician Blake Slatkin for five years. They collaborated on her EP, Minor, and worked on songs about their relationship after they had broken up, which was "awkward."

“We’d had a bunch of time together. … Our history, is what I’m saying, was strong enough to bear the weight of a creative process like this," Abrams told RIFF Magazine in 2021.
