Welcoming to the cage, Conor Jr.!

The first child of UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and his girlfriend Dee Devlin has arrived, McGregor shared on Instagram this weekend.

Irish Mirror reports that Conor Jack McGregor was born on Saturday, May 6, at 8 p.m. at Coombe Maternity Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

According to McGregor’s father Tony McGregor, the little guy weighed in at 8 lbs., 14 oz., and “the whole family are absolutely delighted.”

“We’ve experienced this recently with our eldest daughter and there’s no better feeling in the world than being a grandparent,” Tony added to Irish Mirror. “The parents are absolutely over the moon and everyone is healthy.”

McGregor broke the news himself on Instagram Sunday, posting an adorable photo of Devlin cuddling their new baby boy in the hospital and captioning it, “Dee and Junior are doing great everyone! Thank you for all the kind words, I am one proud and blessed Daddy ❤️.”

The Irish fighter, 28, followed up the introductory snap with another of himself holding his son — in which the newborn appears to be throwing a punch with one hand and blocking his face with the other.

“We can land the left paw from anywhere. Who wants it,” McGregor joked in the caption.

Devlin had been keeping her Instagram followers updated on the progress of her growing baby bump, with her latest post stating simply “Getting close ❤️” next to a snap of her bare belly — with the couple’s pup Hugo snuggling close.

In early April, the then-mom-to-be shared a photo of herself at her baby shower, surrounded by family and friends as she prepared to welcome her and McGregor’s first child.

“I had the best day at my baby shower yesterday!” Devlin wrote. “Huge thank you to my sisters, my/Conor’s sisters and Lynn Hunter for all their organising!! And of course biggest thank you to Conor who was behind it all!”

She added, “Thank you to everyone who came to spend the day with us and for all the presents! It was a day to remember! 💙 #makingmemories.”

Of becoming a first-time dad, McGregor said in November, “I’m crapping me jocks, I’m not going to lie. I don’t even know what way to take it.”
