Tamera Mowry-Housley on Son Aden: 'That Boy Can Talk'

Tamera Mowry-Housley‘s son has inherited her gift for gab.

“Having a mother as a talk show host and a father as a news correspondent, that boy can talk,” the proud mom tells PEOPLE of Aden, 20 months.

His words of choice? “Plane”, “bubble”, “mama”, “daddy”, “go”, “ball” and plenty of “no” — though he prefers to nod instead of saying “yes.”

Mowry-Housley, 36, certainly has plenty to talk about as co-host of The Real, which will run nationally on FOX beginning Sept. 15 with a second run on BET. And she’s taking the topics she loves to dish about the most with her on her new lifestyle website, launching Friday.

“I love to share. So when you find something good — health tips, skin tips, fashion tips — you want to share it,” she says.

The site is a place for the star to connect with fans, many of whom first watched her and twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict on the 90s sitcom Sister, Sister. It will cover everything from interior decorating tips (she’s renovating one California home and building another, joking, “I love the beachy vibe. I know we have kids, but I love a big white house”) to how to style curly tresses, she says.

“I get lots of questions like, ‘What do you put in your hair?'” she explains. “I can’t wait to do tutorials and videos.”

The mom says she’s also busy trying to keep pace with Aden: “He went from crawling, to walking a little bit, to running full speed. I’ve lost all the weight I needed to chasing after this kid.”

Luckily, she has a helper in 3-year-old nephew Cree, who is already shaping up to be a great babysitter.

“Cree actually takes care of Aden,” Mowry-Housley says. “He’s always trying to give him a cup, to feed him.”

And Aden may have another playmate soon: Though the actress laughs off her sister’s joke that they compete over having a second child, Mowry-Housley says she and husband Adam Housley “definitely want another one.”

“If we end up pregnant at the same time, we didn’t plan it,” she says of her twin. “I don’t have a plan. Whatever happens, happens. But I would be very grateful to have another baby.”
