Celebrity Celebrity Family Celebrity Parenting Mayim Bialik Isn't Taking Her Sons on 'Auditions and Neither Is Their Dad' If They Decide to Act "My older son seems really interested in the acting world," she tells PEOPLE By Staff Author Updated on December 3, 2020 06:03AM EST If Mayim Bialik‘s little ones decide to follow in her acting footsteps, they might have a tough time getting to auditions. “My older son and my younger son, actually, they’ve both done some Shakespeare in our home school community and they really like that,” Bialik told PEOPLE at the 33rd annual PaleyFest Los Angeles Big Bang Theory panel in Hollywood on Wednesday. “My older son seems really interested in the acting world, but my younger son wants to be a policeman, which is also funny,” the actress, mom to Miles, 10, and Frederick, 7, with ex-husband Michael Stone, adds with a laugh. Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP Although having a future police officer in the family “would be good” to “balance it out,” the star admits she’s not completely on board if her sons decided to dabble in Tinseltown. “I’m not taking them on auditions and neither is their dad so they better get really creative,” she says. Acting aside, Bialik, 40, has passed down another one of her talents to her children: playing the piano. “My older son has really gotten into piano,” says Bialik. “He’s been playing classical music so he learned ‘Moonlight Sonata’ and he just wants to play it all the time.” “Then I taught him ‘Let It Be’ this weekend, and I sing and he accompanies me,” she continues. “It’s really, really funny.” — Mariah Haas Close
