On Tuesday, the pop star, 21, shared a TikTok video of herself ahead of her concert at Belle Centre putting her own spin on Nicole Kidman's viral 2021 commercial for AMC Theatres. In response to the "Vampire" artist's post, Kidman, 56, shared a sweet response on her Instagram Story on Wednesday alongside the TikTok video. "You just won me some major points with my girls! Adore you @oliviarodrigo xx," she wrote in a caption atop the clip, referencing daughters Faith Margaret, 13, and Sunday Rose, 15. Nicole Kidman Wants to Perform Her Viral AMC Ad Live with a Drag Queen: It's 'My Dream' In a cover story interview for Elle’s April 2024 Impact issue, the actress opened up about the making of the 2021 advertisement, recalling that she filmed the spot during a weekend while she made her movie Being the Ricardos. She told the publication that she felt compelled to help bring moviegoers back to theaters after the COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on the movie industry.“It was just the desire to keep cinemas alive,” she said. “I’ve had the best experiences in cinema. I’d pretend I was going to school; I’d forge a note, and I’d go and sit in a movie theater. That’s a safe haven for me, so the idea of those not existing — that’s just not part of the equation in my lifetime.” “If that’s what it takes, I’ll do whatever it takes,” Kidman added of the advertisement's popularity, which has been made fun of in the two-plus years since it debuted. “We have to have some more ideas for the next one.” Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Olivia Rodrigo's Daring Guts Tour Wardrobe Boasts Hot Pants, Crystals and a Nod to Gwen Stefani She further discussed how the spot has become a popular subject for drag performers to spoof during shows — and how she'd want to get in on the fun. “My dream will be to be onstage doing it with a drag queen,” Kidman told the outlet of drag performers paying tribute to the famous "we make movies better" ad. “I’ve got to be able to do that at some point.” Rodrigo is currently in the midst of her Guts World Tour, which features 77 dates and kicked off on Feb. 23 in Palm Springs, California.
