Desert Rose! Sting Announces Las Vegas Residency

Sting's residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace will kick off in May 2020

Sting is setting up shop in Las Vegas for a 16-date residency.

The musician has announced he’ll hit the stage in Sin City for Sting: My Songs next year at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

A press release says the former Police frontman’s show will feature a “compendium” of his legendary catalog, with “dynamic, visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.”

Ticket prices start at $59, and will go on sale to the general public Friday, May 3, with the first show kicking off in May 2020.

Sting, 67, will also release a new album of the same name on May 24, followed by a European tour.

My Songs will include new takes on classics like “Fields of Gold,” “Message in a Bottle” and “Every Breath You Take.”

“Some of them reconstructed, some of them refitted, some of them reframed, but all of them with a contemporary focus,” the singer says on his website.

The release comes one year after Sting teamed up with Shaggy for the island-influenced record 44/876, which won a Grammy for best reggae album.

The 17-time Grammy winner’s residency announcement puts him in good company.

Janet Jackson announced her own residency in February, while Aerosmith kicked off theirs earlier this month. Journey also announced this month they’ll launch one in October, while Bruno Mars will hit the stage again later this month.

Sting.com fan club members will get access to a presale starting Thursday at 7 a.m. ET and ending May 2. Citi cardmembers can also buy presale tickets starting Monday at 7 a.m. ET and ending May 2. A presale for Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation, Ticketmaster and SiriusXM customers will also kick off May 1 and end May 2.

Sting’s performances are scheduled for May 22, 23, 27, 29 and 30, June 3, 5, and 6, Aug. 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29, and Sept. 2 of 2020.
