DJ Khaled, H.E.R. and Migos kicked off the lively show outside Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater, performing their hit "We Going Crazy" to a delighted audience. After a year without live music, the energy of the masked crowd swaying along (not to mention the dancing trombone players) was a long overdue treat.

The Weeknd's Outfit Change

"I'd like to thank God that I don't have to wear that red suit anymore," the "Blinding Lights" singer joked during his acceptance speech for top hot 100 artist, poking fun at finally getting to retire the getup he wore all last year to promote his album After Hours. The singer took home 10 awards, including including top artist and top Hot 100 artist.

Alicia Keys' Medley from Songs in A Minor

Keys took the audience on a tour of the numerous keyboards and pianos around the stage, showing off a different set of keys for each song.

Jon Bon Jovi's, Er, Thoughtful Gift

While introducing longtime friend and 2021 Billboard icon recipient Pink, Bon Jovi revealed a unique gift he sent the singer after she admitted to him that she'd had a childhood crush on him and had been heartbroken when she learned he was married: an enormous floral arrangement and a pair of his leather pants. "Now you can finally get in my pants," he jokingly wrote along with the gift.

Pink and Daughter Willow's Gravity-Defying Performance

Before performing a medley of her top hits from the past few decades, the singer hit the stage with 9-year-old daughter Willow, wowing the audience with an eye-popping acrobatic performance of their duet "Cover Me in Sunshine."

Sounds of Blackness' Choral Performance

In honor of the 30th anniversary of their song "Optimistic," the Grammy-winning music ensemble performed a moving rendition of the song from Paisley Park in Minneapolis. Introduced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the performance featured photos from last summer's Black Lives Matter protests projected in the background.

Standing atop a parked car against a trippy light show, the Colombian singer — who earned the award for top female Latin artist — brought her trademark energy to the show with her Spanish-language hits "Bichota" and "El Makinon" while surrounded by a group of background dancers dressed in all white.

BTS' Bringing the Moves

In a pre-taped clip, the global group brought the red carpet to Seoul as they performed their hit song "Butter." The K-pop sensation also took home the awards for top song sales artist, top duo/group, top social artist (fan-voted) and top selling song for "Dynamite."

Adonis' Teary Cameo

Drake is a hard man to upstage — but his adorable 3½-year-old son Adonis nearly managed to do just that when he accompanied his dad to accept the artist of the decade award. Drake, who has won 29 Billboard awards, holds the most awards of any artist in Billboard's history.

The "Kiss Kiss" singer, who took home the awards for best rock artist and best rock album, put on a loved-up display with his "twin flame" on the red carpet. Megan stepping out in this dress was a Best Moment in its own right.
