Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth were spotted filming scenes for the upcoming third Bridget Jones installment on Monday, and this time they were joined by a very special costar: the baby! While Zellweger has been seen filming Bridget Jones’s Baby with and without a baby bump, this is the first time fans have been given a glimpse at the beloved fictional Brit’s newborn. Zellweger, 44, was seen holding her onscreen offspring in what appeared to be a Christening scene. The actress protectively held the baby, who was wrapped in a cream blanket. Firth looked dapper in a sleek navy blue suit and matching tie, with his brown hair slicked back and sprinkled with grey streak. Earlier this month, Zellweger was seen wearing the same green dress and white cardigan as she ran through a London market. The cast has been hard at work filming in the U.K., and while there are some hints as to what fans can expect from Bridget Jones’s Baby, the plot and details of each character still remain largely a mystery.
