Nicolas Cage and Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil Get into Scuffle in Las Vegas

Nicolas Cage and Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil got into an altercation in Las Vegas on Thursday, after the singer allegedly assaulted a fan at the Aria Hotel.

Police tell PEOPLE the scuffle took place around 5 p.m., and was preceded by another incident inside the hotel, in which Neil allegedly yanked a woman to the ground by her hair after she asked Cage for an autograph.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Neil can be seen moving towards Cage outside the hotel. The actor then grabs Neil around the neck and restrains him before yelling, “Stop this s— now!”

Neil was cited for battery for the alleged incident involving the female fan, but was not taken to the police station. He, or someone on his behalf, will have to appear in Las Vegas court at a later date, unless the alleged victim chooses to settle the dispute privately, according to authorities.
