And her latest performance in e.l.f. Skin's new campaign is no exception.“I really liked the look that we did. It was sexy and playful and different, “ says Stalter of the red leather outfit (complete with hair horns) she wore to play a “sinfluencer” in the video. “She's sassy and she's going out for the night.” (For the record, Stalter says she’d wear the look in real life, sans horns.) The ensemble wasn’t the only thing the actress, 33, loved about working with the beauty brand on the campaign in which she encourages people to commit skin sins like picking at pimples and buying expensive skincare gadgets. They have such a good sense of humor,” she says. “I’ve been using e.l.f. products since I was a nanny. They’re so affordable, but also really, really good, amazing quality.” While overspending on beauty products isn’t one of her skin sins, Stalter confesses she is guilty of another common temptation. “I definitely used to sleep in my makeup,” she says. “In the past, I didn't really see the fun in skincare and I didn't know as much about it and how important it was.”These days, she sticks to a nightly cleansing and moisturizing routine with products that make taking care of her skin “easy and fun” like her two favorites: e.l.f. Stalter likes to experiment with different looks, which is something she shares with her Hacks character. “Kayla’s makeup is the makeup I do. I love a lot of colored eyeliner. Same with her outfits. I love every single thing she wears.
