Martha Stewart is enjoying a special night out with her grandson.

On Sunday, the celebrity chef, 82, shared a photo on her Instagram Story showing her and her grandson Truman, 11, at the New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden over the weekend. Wearing a bright orange sweater, the proud grandma leans in to show her grandson something on her phone as the two sit courtside.

"If you look hard enough you see me —orange sweater— and soon to be 12 yr old Truman out for the night at Madison square garden for @nyknicks @celtics game," Stewart wrote over the image.

In December, the chef told PEOPLE that she had recently hosted her granddaughter and five friends for the weekend and aimed to impress. "I cooked them the best gourmet meals I could conjure up," she said. "I was going to give them an apple tart lesson, but we ran out of time."

Earlier that fall, Stewart shared photos on Instagram from her weekend with granddaughter Jude and her friends as they embraced all things autumn.

"Phew! We survived the fabulous autumn weekend fest with six 12-year-old girls," Stewart declared in the caption.

Stewart treated the group of girls to "Non-stop activities including pumpkin carving, glamping, hiking, horseback riding, eating, apple picking, apple cider pressing, etc. etc."

"I received the best thank you notes and we all slept well after the two-day fun-filled weekend," she added, showing off some of the girls' handmade cards. "The girls are fabulous. Smart. Amusing. Thoughtful. And above all lovely human beings!!!!!!!!!"
