Mario Lopez was saved by some seriously high-coverage makeup.

On Tuesday, the television personality and actor, 50, revealed that he had suffered a ‘busted’ eye during what seemed to be an intense session of jiu jitsu.

The Saved by the Bell alum posted a couple of selfies on Instagram showing off his injury, which included a black eye and what appeared to be facial swelling.

However, Lopez didn’t let his gnarly appearance get in the way of his television gig later on in the day. In another photo, he’s seen on a set looking good as new.

“A little makeup magic and just like that…we’re back on TV!” he wrote in the caption of his post.

The Access Hollywood star definitely knows a thing or two about makeup. Earlier this year he partnered up with e.l.f. Cosmetics to help launch the brand’s limited-edition Sticky Shop merch inspired by the viral Power Grip Primer

These days, Lopez has been busy on-screen and working behind the scenes on his eponymous line of sneakers.

Elsewhere in his life, he’s also had a lot to celebrate with his wife Courtney Lopez and their three kids: Santiago, 4, Dominic, 10, and Gia, 13.

The family of five recently commemorated Thanksgiving and Lopez took to Instagram with a video showing how the quintet likes to embody the holiday spirit.

"We really don't have any staples other than obviously we're all together as a family," Lopez shared of his Thanksgiving traditions, adding that they either spend time at his home, "Casa Lopez," or his sister Marissa Wong's house.

"We just make sure we're all together," he added, demonstrating with an adorable photo of the family of five clad in PJs and piled into one bed together.

They also like to feast on the classic turkey, as well as Italian and Mexican dishes, plus there’s lots of "good drinks" and "good movies."

And when it comes to style, the couple agrees on one thing: "We're in sweats. We don't get dressed up,” Courtney revealed of her household’s holiday dress code.
