Madonna Shares Treasure Trove of Personal Photos and Video as Son Rocco Turns 24: 'Love You for Eternity'

Madonna is celebrating her eldest son!

On Saturday, Aug. 11, the star's son Rocco Ritchie, whom she shares with ex Guy Ritchie, turned 24, and Madonna, 65, shared a sweet Instagram post commemorating the occasion — complete with 20 photos and videos of him throughout the years.

She kicked off the post with a mother-son shot of the duo, with Rocco planting a kiss on her forehead, which was followed by a sweet black-and-white home video of the now-24-year-old with older sister Lourdes Leon, 27.

Throughout the rest of the post, she also documented the many eras of Rocco — from buzzcuts to pigtails — plus some of the art he has created, including a painted portrait of his pop star mother.

She ended the post with a more recent shot of herself and Rocco on a boat and, in the caption, added a heartfelt birthday message.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCCO— the long and Winding Road through all your many moods and incarnations has been tumultuous and full of surprises,” Madonna wrote. “But through it all —your curiosity, and Artistic Soul has been the glue that held us together.”

“Thank God for Art,” she continued. “Thank God for you. We have been together for many lifetimes. Thank you for choosing me again. Love you -for Eternity. ♥️.”

The “Material Girl” singer most recently dedicated a post to Rocco in April, when she attended his art exhibition in Miami — and commemorated the moment with a sweet show of support on Instagram.

"So happy to have the night off to enjoy my son Rocco’s’s latest collection of paintings called ‘Pack A Punch’ inspired by Muay Thai fighters,” Madonna’s caption read. “So Proud ! ♥️♥️♥️. @miamidesigndistrict.”

Also in attendance at the exhibition were some of the star’s other children: David, 18, Mercy, 18, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

Earlier this year, Madonna opened up about all six of her kids — and how it feels to get them involved with her art and performances.

While speaking about the end of her Celebration Tour with W. Magazine in April, the proud mom said, "When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness than to know we are all working on the same show, creating the magic together.”

"Of course, I am their mother so sometimes we get on each other's nerves,” she added. “We are a family of artists but we are also a family, and that's what happens."
