The country music star and Yellowstone actor urged series creator Taylor Sheridan to count her in for the second half of the show's final season. "I'm ready for it, I'll tell you that," she told Entertainment Tonight on the 66th Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday. "I'm waiting to see what's happening," she added. "I told Taylor Sheridan, you give me the call and I'll be there." Wilson, 31, plays Abby on the Paramount Network series. Paramount Network "(Sheridan) said he wanted me to pretty much be myself, which is a dream come true, especially when you're trying to introduce yourself to people," Wilson previously told USA Today of the role. "All I got from him at that time was that I would play a musician who would fall in love with one of the boys. He didn't even tell me which one." So far, the Grammy winner has been featured in four Yellowstone episodes — all of which aired in the first part of season 5. Episodes one through eight of the final season premiered in November 2022. While the rest of the final season is on the horizon, Yellowstone is currently on a filming hiatus following a few roadblocks. Lead Kevin Costner stepped away from the series before filming the second half of season 5, and the 2023 Hollywood strikes postponed further work on the series. However, the show's final episodes have finally been given a November 2024 premiere date. Yellowstone's Final Episodes Get Premiere Date as New Spinoffs Are Ordered Costner shared more on his decision to leave the series during a child support hearing in September. At the time, he said he needed to focus on his own western epic, the four-part movie series Horizon: An American Saga, which didn’t work with filming Yellowstone twice a year. Costner said he “changed” his schedule to shoot the first part of season 5, adding, “That’s a big deal in this world.” He concluded, “I couldn’t help them any more.
