Lady Gaga Says She's 'So Excited' to Start a Family with Fiancé Michael Polansky in the Future

The pop star confirmed her engagement to Polansky at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Lady Gaga can't wait to have a family of her own.

The "Born This Way" singer, 38, was interviewed by Buzzfeed Canada and was asked in a video posted to the outlet's TikTok about what she hopes to manifest for herself in the next 15 years. Gaga, who is engaged to fiancé Michael Polansky, 41, shared that she's looking forward to creating a family.

“You know, I’m so happy to be in love and I’m so excited to have a family," Gaga responded. "So that’s definitely number one.”

Gaga and Polansky were first linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. Shortly after, they made their relationship Instagram official at the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami.

In July 2024, Gaga revealed she is engaged to Polansky to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a TikTok posted by Attal on July 28, Gaga could be heard introducing Polansky as "my fiancé" as the trio spectated a swimming event together.

In a March 2020 interview with InStyle, Gaga opened up about her desire to have kids.

"I will say I am very excited to have kids," Gaga admitted. "I look forward to being a mom. Isn't it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it's our job to keep it alive."

The superstar said she felt she already had taken on a maternal role as Mother Monster to her many fans.

“It’s so funny — everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!’ ” she quipped.
