Kieran Culkin Reveals Daughter's Last Minute Halloween Costume Change Involving Hair Dye (Exclusive)

Kieran Culkin is making sure his daughter gets her dream Halloween costume this year — no matter how complicated.

While chatting with PEOPLE at the premiere of A Real Pain at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Thursday, Oct. 17, the Succession actor, 42, shared that his kids — daughter Kinsey Sioux, 5, and son Wilder Wolf, 3, whom he shares with wife Jazz Charton — recently made a last-minute, complicated change to the family's Halloween costume plans.

"At one point, all of us were going to be the Ninja Turtles, but then they changed their minds," he tells PEOPLE. "So now we got to strap together some Spider-Man stuff."

Culkin then shares that Kinsey's favorite Spider-Man character is Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's girlfriend who rocks long, blonde hair with hot pink ends.

"My daughter loves ghost spiders. So, you know, you've got to get that costume somehow," the dad of two says. "And Gwen Stacy in the cartoon has, like, pink in the end of her hair. I'm gonna try to get that going."

The girl dad then clarifies, "I’m not gonna dye it. I’m gonna temporary wash that s---."

In May 2023, the actor's wife gave a rare insight into their life as a family of four. Charton, 36, shared several sweet photos of Culkin with their kids on Instagram.

In the photos, Culkin showed his kids around Succession character Logan Roy’s apartment, posing with his kids on the spiral staircase and hugging Kinsey on a chair. 

“The alternate reality Roman where he’s a dad but still an arsehold (♥️ ),” Charton teased in the caption.
