Kamala Harris Jokes at Campaign Rally Hecklers: ‘I Think You Meant to Go to the Smaller One’

Kamala Harris knows how to keep the show going.

The Democratic presidential nominee was discussed her stance on abortion and the overturning of Roe v. Wade at a campaign rally in La Crosse, Wis., on Thursday, Oct. 17, when hecklers began to interrupt her.

"We will move forward because ours is a fight for the future, and it is a fight for freedom — for freedom. Like the fundamental freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body and not have her government tell her what to do," she said as attendees, whistled, and cheered loudly.

"And again, we’re not going to be gaslighted on this. We remember Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade, and they did as he intended," continued Harris, before some crowd members shouted out, "That's a lie."

As the audience turn toward the direction of the hecklers, Harris paused and said, "Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally," before cracking a smile.

As the crowd cheered and Harris laughed, she added, "No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street." Watch the clip below:

Campaign rallies were previously a topic of discussion during Harris' and Trump's sole presidential debate on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

"I'm going to invite you to attend one of Donald Trump's rallies because it's a really interesting thing to watch. You will see during the course of his rallies he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about windmills cause cancer. And what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom," the vice president said.

Trump responded to Harris and shared his own opinion about his rallies.

"She said people start leaving. People don't go to her rallies. There's no reason to go. And the people that do go, she's busing them in and paying them to be there," he said without evidence.

"And then showing them in a different light. So, she can't talk about that," the former president continued. "People don't leave my rallies. We have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies in the history of politics."
