In PEOPLE's exclusive first look at the Shrinking season 2 premiere, the actor, 44, shares an honest conversation with his onscreen daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell), who confronts him about the recent changes he's made in his life. The highly anticipated second installment will continue telling the story of Segel as a grieving therapist named Jimmy, who "starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks," per the official logline. "Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people's lives...including his own."
