After weeks of teasing the collaboration, the pair released a cover of Ron Sexsmith's "Maybe This Christmas" on Friday, Nov. 8. The festive song will feature on Jason's annual Philadelphia-themed holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas Party. “Maybe this Christmas will mean something more / Maybe this year love will appear / Deeper than ever before,” Jason sings on the song, written by Sexsmith and Charles Bolt. The song's release comes after Jason raved about working with the Fleetwood Mac icon while speaking on the Oct. 30 episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast. The legendary Stevie Nicks came on and did a duet with me." “Which in itself is, like, pretty crazy to actually be on a track with Stevie Nicks. I mean, absolutely unreal,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player continued. “[She’s] probably the most legendary female singer, especially of her generation … [and so] the fact that I'm singing with her this legend, is pretty unreal,” Jason added. The collaboration between Jason and Nicks isn't a complete coincidence as the "Edge of Seventeen" hitmaker's friendship with Taylor Swift — who's dating Travis — goes way back. Jason is set to release his third annual Christmas album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, with his former teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson on Nov. 22, with all proceeds going to Philadelphia-based charities.
