Instead, the "Monday Night Countdown" analyst said on Wednesday's episode of his "New Heights" podcast that he would be watching the game from a "comfortable" place

Expect Jason Kelce to be wearing a shirt this weekend — wherever he may be watching the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills game.

The Monday Night Countdown analyst shared his sartorial selection with younger brother Travis Kelce on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

“Last time you were in Buffalo, I was there, and it was a fun evening for everyone involved,” Jason, 37, recalled to the Chiefs tight end, 35.

The revelry included the retired Philadelphia Eagles center tailgating in the parking lot with Bills Mafia, helping a young girl in the stands wave hello to Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift — and taking off his shirt while watching the game in an open-air suite despite frigid conditions.

“Can’t wait to watch this one,” Jason said on New Heights. “I will not be shirtless this time around, I’ll be watching this one from some comfortable area.”

Things are now a bit different for the former football star, who retired last March and is working as a broadcaster.

But, looking back, the game last January was one for the ages, Jason told PEOPLE in September.

"It was a fun one," Jason recalled. "Part of it is the Bills Mafia in that tailgate and like everything before the game to during the game. It was a whole experience that I had never really taken part in. I think there's some other fan bases, including one in my own hometown, that I'm looking forward to potentially being able to partake in some of the shenanigans as well."

He continued, "But Buffalo really... I mean, it was part weather, part the fact that it was such a huge playoff game for both teams. The atmosphere and everything was just so special that evening."

"Yeah, I think I kind of got possessed by fandom on that occasion," he said, and added with a laugh, "Probably alcohol as well, but we'll leave it at fandom."
