TJ: It's usually whatever the crowd's favorite is. Any time you play the one that the crowd likes the most, it's just always fun. "Ain't My Fault" — we're going to play it tonight, but even before it was a known song or a hit, people always responded to it. And even though we play the song thousands of times, I still love it. It doesn't get old to me at all.

John: The crowd's energy is like a drug. The more you get, the better it feels. That song definitely elicits a huge response.

Ashley McBryde

Right now it's the "6th of October." In the chorus it talks about reckless hearts and it names the kinds: "The tattered and bruised ones / the slightly confused ones / the ones holding stools down in bars." And when we're singing it live I can look in the audience and see who identifies with one of those characters, or who is thinking of someone that they identify as being one of those characters. It's a really nice connection.

Every night we ask each other in the band, 'What was your favorite connection moment?' or 'What was your favorite song tonight?' and more times than not it's the "6th of October."

Trevor: I've been enjoying one that has less energy but it's got the swagger — "Written in the Sand."

Matthew: My favorite song is "Memory Lane" ... high energy and there's the big guitar solo — we get to feel like a band.

Geoff: I've been enjoying "How Good Is That." It's a great energy in the crowd.

Brad: "Make It Sweet" is a classic! It makes me happy.

Ashley Cooke

Ooh, I'm torn. It's between "Your Place," which is my single on the radio right now that just broke Top 10, which is super exciting, so that's the obvious answer right?

I would say besides that song I have a song called "It's Been a Year," which is a really special song to me. I feel like it really wraps up my life and my year no matter what phase of life I am in at the time. And it's also really cool to know that a lot of people in the crowd come to me after shows saying that song really resonated with them.

I wrote that song — and a lot of my songs — based off of personal experiences and what it meant to me to write. I needed them like my own journal entries in that sense, so it's really cool to know that other people out there need those songs too.

I'm enjoying singing some of my new material live ... going to perform one tonight!

Hillary: Tonight we're actually doing a little bit of a new arrangement, something we haven't done before of "Need You Now," so I am really excited that we get to do that with a little different spin.

Charles: It's always fun to perform new songs — our current single on the radio is "Love You Back." When it's put up against other hits it's always fun to see if it feels like it fits in with that common thread of the other music. That's our goal — for every song to have its own character, but to still fit a common thread musically and sonically.

Dave: "Need You Now" I am really excited about... when you hit those three notes on the piano — just to hear the crowd do that never gets old! The way they light up ... that song is always special. We'll do it a little bit different and stripped at the beginning tonight.

Riley Green

Songs like "I Wish Grandpas Never Died" I never get tired of playing because they are so personal, but really as a songwriter I've always liked the last thing I wrote. I love trying to play new songs at shows.

I've got a song that just came out called "Jesus Saves" — a more emotional type song — and I love to see the reaction from the crowd. You want everyone to have a good time and beers up in the air, but it's also nice to break the show down and sit on a stool and play something acoustic ... try to get that type of emotional reaction.

Chris Lane

My favorite song to perform live is a song called "I Don't Know About You," a song that changed my career and life in the biggest way. People scream the words to that song every night, so it makes for a great moment. Literally every night! That is one song I will never get tired of.

Walker Hayes

Probably "AA" is my favorite song to perform live. It's right behind "Fancy Like." But "AA" — I think the crowd sings the loudest for that one. I love that one and I love hitting the dance while we're hitting the chorus.

My favorite song right now is one that we just put out. It's called "Burn My Summer" and it's just a fun one to sing — the melodies and the band rocks with that one. It's a lot of fun to play live with the band. The song just came out a few days ago so people don't know it that well yet, but we are getting a good reaction.

We do a cover of "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley and that's been my favorite song forever. One of my favorites we do in my live show. Obviously it's a big song, but it's special to me and it's probably why I enjoy it the most.

Every year there are different artists who smash through, like Jelly Roll, and to feel their fresh approach to music always makes my approach here a little different.

If there's always new blood coming in, then it's easier for me to have the new energy for it.

Granger Smith

This is different because — all the years playing music, touring and being a singer, and now getting into radio, being a presenter and doing public speaking — they are all different animals in the same zoo.

I ask them to tell me as little information as possible, especially if it's a lot of cards and teleprompters. If I took a picture of that teleprompter and sit there and stare at it, I will definitely mess that up! I told them, 'Give me 30 seconds before I go and show me the card.' It helps my brain not overthink it. I don't want to memorize it in a strange way and feel weird about it — I'd rather react.

Odette and Dave Annable

Odette: To be asked to present to Keith Urban when my husband also works with Nicole Kidman on his TV show is kind of a dream. You can't replicate that feeling. And going on stage and seeing about 15,000 people and feeling that energy is really special. We're happy to be here tonight.

We're huge Brothers Osborne fans and so we watched them tonight. We just met Jelly Roll — we're going to get to see him. We're just really grateful to be here.

And I get to be on a show [Walker] that shoots in Austin, it's just really incredible. And Dave shoots second season of Lioness starting in a month in Fort Worth. So we're really locked in on Texas!
