Earlier this week, del Toro, 59, began sharing his experience about staying in the “most haunted” room of a hotel built in the 1800s in Aberdeen, Scotland, while filming a new adaptation of Frankenstein. The filmmaker wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Aug. 20: “i am in the Most Haunted room of it — which was vacated this morning by one of our producers. Nothing had happened yet, but the room had an “oppressive” atmosphere and he no longer wished to stay in that room. “It may be suggestion, but at this point I kept it but am sleeping in another room — I need 6 hours of sleep to have a good shooting day — Im stopping there early and late in the day — but something is in that room with me,” he wrote. “If anything happens or Nothing does expect one or two more updates.” 18 Celebrities Who Say They've Lived in Real Haunted Houses After he finished filming on Thursday, del Toro returned to the room. “The room has more than vibes,” he wrote. “There is something angry and territorial there.
