Girls Gone Wild: The Untold Story offers a behind-the-scenes look at the multi-million dollar franchise created by notorious film producer Joe Francis, in which young women were filmed exposing themselves on spring break for adult entertainment tapes that were sold on late-night television. The upcoming three-part documentary includes interviews with former employees, enemies and survivors — none of whom are named in the trailer — who open up about the “shocking” nature of the videos and how they have impacted countless lives. “I never thought that that would come back and haunt me for 20 years,” one survivor says in the exclusive trailer, while another claims, “I was too young to be taped.” Joe Francis. Francis previously defended some of his tactics on Girls Gone Wild, which made $20 million in its first two years alone. “If I took no for an answer, I wouldn’t be where I was!” Francis said in a clip from a previous interview, which appears in the film.
