Former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell and his wife Sarah are asking for help finding their missing daughter.

Greg, 59, and his wife shared a harrowing update about their daughter on Facebook on Sunday, Aug. 25, that began with "PLEASE HELP."

Greg and Sarah said in the post that their daughter Brenna — a mother of three — "has not been seen or heard from in the Austin area since late Thursday afternoon," and that her phone has been turned off. "She has not been in contact with family, friends, and mostly importantly her children," the couple wrote.

The post included a photo of Brenna and her ex-boyfriend — who her father described as "violent" on Facebook — and a photo of her white KIA Carnival, which has not yet been located.

"Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant and is violent so PLEASE if you have seen or heard from either one of them, let us know. She drives a white Kia Carnival which has not been located yet. We are in the process of filing a missing persons report so that will be with Austin Police soon."

The couple said that Brenna's ex is facing legal trouble "from when he assaulted her last month" and that they aren't sure if their daughter "went with him willingly, was talking into running away with him, or what."

Greg and Sarah said they "still feel" that their daughter "would never abandon her 3 children or just take off without explanation," and that unless "otherwise" can be proven, the couple said, "we feel she is in danger."

Following the initial post, Sarah updated the status with new information and said Greg was working with police in Austin. The family said they were able to confirm that Brenna and her boyfriend "were seen together Thursday night" and that both of their phones have been turned off.

Sarah added that she has been in contact with Brenna's ex-boyfriend's father, who is "being helpful" as they continue "working together to keep each other in the loop."

More information about their daughter's appearance was added to the post as well. "She is 5'5" and probably 120 or so pounds," her parents described. "She has brown shoulder-length hair she likes to wear in a high ponytail. She has a sleeve tattoo with flowers on one arm and a spider web on the other shoulder. She tends to always have a vape with her as well."

A second update was shared hours later, informing the Swindells' concerned family and friends that the Texas Department of Public Safety is working to locate Brenna's car.

"DPS has been working on it the best they can. Because the GPS isn't on and no cell phones are on, there is no science exactly where the car is by now," the post read.

The couple said they have "had lots of leads" and are "trying to sift through them" while hoping that authorities can activate her car's GPS. "Until we can get KIA to activate the GPS tomorrow morning, and also figure out what apartment she is in as she moved on Tuesday and nobody knows the number, and the complex is closed today."
