Eva Longoria’s 6-year-old son is "very cultured" thanks to the trips he takes with his mom.

The actress, 46, sat down with Hoda Kotb as a guest on Today on Thursday, June 20, ahead of the release of her new show Land of Women. Kotb excitedly pointed out that Longoria’s son Santiago, whom she shares with husband José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón, 55, turned 6 yesterday.

"How is he evolving and changing?" the news anchor, 59, asked Longoria.

"Oh my God, you know what, I love is he’s always with me when I’m working," the Desperate Housewives alum replied. "If we’re in Spain, we just all go to Spain. If we’re in Rome, we’re all in Rome. And he’s very cultured."

Longoria continued to give examples of comments her son will make when traveling: "‘Oh mom, can we have macaroons if you go to Paris?’ ‘We can eat jamón when we’re in Spain,' " she recalled, adding "I just love how global he’s growing up, and understands and appreciates other cultures and other languages."

It's no secret that both Santiago and his mom have a love of food. On Thanksgiving 2023, the actress and producer shared several Instagram videos and photos of Santiago, Pepe, and other family members preparing food for the holiday.

"What are we doing?" she asked Santiago in one video while her son hugged her waist. He responded with a shout: "Thanksgiving party!"

"We're cooking," Longoria explained to her followers while panning the phone around her kitchen to show a rolling pin and dough, which Santiago began to eat.

"Don't put that in your mouth," she playfully scolded.

"Y'all don't know," said Longoria, clad in a red-and-white striped Williams Sonoma apron. "I've started Thanksgiving prep like three days ago. But what's crazy is we make a huge breakfast on Thanksgiving, right mom? I make my beans, my tortillas to get everybody filled up before we have our Thanksgiving meal."

Longoria then turned her phone to show her mother, Ella and other loved ones gathered around the kitchen island eating the fruits of her labor.
