In a promo clip for the 58th annual Country Music Association Awards show, the "Heart Like a Truck" singer, 32, surprises Bryan, 48, and Manning, 48, from the backseat of a convertible where they chat about the upcoming ceremony. "Listen, fellas, I ain't trying to kill your vibe, but I think I could bring something to the CMA Awards that you ain't never had before," she tells them. "Like humor. Like personality. Like style. A little bell bottom flair." Bryan and Manning decide that they do need her at the awards show, which will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in November. "I could not be more excited to host the CMA Awards this year with Luke and Peyton,” Wilson said in a press release. “It's such an incredible honor and something I've always dreamed of doing. We're planning a really great show for y'all, so make sure to watch on Nov. 20!" Bryan and Manning co-hosted the awards show in 2022 and 2023. The former took home the entertainer of the year award in 2014 and 2015. Wilson won entertainer of the year in 2023 and is up for the same award against Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. “Hosting the CMA Awards is such an honor and it’s crazy when I realize this is my fourth year back,” Bryan said. “Peyton and I have really worked to build off each other and now adding Lainey to the mix will just bring another fun element to the night. Celebrating country music never gets old to me.” Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson and Peyton Manning. Hopefully she can help me keep Luke in line! Either way, I’m excited for an incredible night of celebration and country music.” Performers at the awards show have yet to be announced, but the nominee list — which Beyoncé is notably absent from — is packed with star power. Leading the nominations is Wallen, 31, with seven nominations, followed by Stapleton, 46, Cody Johnson with five nods. Post Malone and Wilson are both up for four awards. Wilson could take home the entertainer of the year, single of the year, female vocalist of the year and music video of the year. The 58th Annual CMA Awards airs on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Close
