I want to sing,” Evans tells PEOPLE. “[And] dance. That is what I want.” “Let’s manifest that, man,” says his costar Johnson, 52. “I mean, that's tough though because that's something you got to do right. You only get so many bites at that apple,” Evans continues. “... But knowing that I'm very precious with it and I want to make sure it's the right thing. So yeah, that's always in the works.” “That's the quickest way to get me in a room. If you say it's going to be a musical, I'm listening,” he adds. Chris Evans. (Exclusive) The actor’s comments come after he spoke to PEOPLE about slowing down his career to focus on his personal life in 2022. Evans says he is now thinking about what fulfills him outside of work and in his life at home with his wife of one year, Alba Baptista. “I always feel like I'm lacking hobbies because when you're a kid, acting is your hobby, but then acting becomes your job,” he tells PEOPLE. “And when your hobby becomes your job, there's a void, there's something missing. You need things in your life that aren't for work, that aren't for income, it's just for you. And I'd like it to be something new.” Evans adds that yoga is at the top of his list of new hobbies, as well as painting. “My wife's an incredible artist, so she was going to get into painting. Maybe I'll try and piggyback on that until I realize how much better she is than me,” he jokes. Red One is now in theaters. Close
