As these seven celebrity couples prove, it’s still possible to love, support and cheer on your ex even if you’re no longer romantically involved, whether that means posting cute throwback photos or celebrating his or her new music. 1. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey While Cannon is no longer married to Carey, he still thinks of his ex-wife as “the queen.” On Dec. 2, the 36-year-old posted a sexy throwback photo of the two of them together on vacation. “It’s all love! No hate! But damn we looked Amazing!!!” Cannon captioned an Instagram pic of himself shirtless next to a bikini-clad Carey. https://www.instagram.com/p/BNfBhRkD_vi/ 2. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin In addition to frequently attending Martin’s Coldplay concerts, the lifestyle guru applauds her ex-husband’s parenting skills and frequently posts sweet photos of him on her Instagram account. “As anybody who has been divorced knows, you have to put a lot aside to maintain the family and the practicalities of what that might mean and sometimes that’s quite tough on a personal level,” the 44-year-old actress said to BBC News in an interview. “It’s a commitment I make every day to my children and their father even though we’re not in a romantic relationship.” 3. Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman When her ex-husband ran the N.Y.C. Marathon in November, Barrymore was his biggest cheerleader. The actress, 41, joined the couple’s daughters Olive, 4, and Frankie, 2½, to support Kopelman as he ran the race. In October, the actress said that her secret to co-parenting with Kopelman is “constant planning.” When asked how the parents, who divorced in August, spend their new lives apart, Barrymore told Entertainment Tonight, “I think plans. Constant plans. We, as a family, have three dates for this Halloween.” 4. Harry Styles and Taylor Swift Swift and Styles called it quits long ago (January 2013, to be exact), but the One Directioner clearly still has T-Swift on his mind. On his 22nd birthday on Feb. 1, 2016, Styles tweeted a line from Swift’s early-20s anthem “22”: “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22,” he wrote. 5. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick While things are heating up again between the on-again, off-again lovers and co-parents, Kardashian has always shown nothing but affection for the father of her three children (Penelope, Mason and Reign). For his birthday this year, Kardashian posted a sweet throwback photo. They also killed the whole Halloween thing. While the two are living together as of November, a source told PEOPLE that the 37-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star “doesn’t want to say that they are back together until she knows for sure that Scott is fully committed to his family. But so far so good. Scott has been amazing to Kourtney, and she is very happy.” 6. Mandy Moore and Wilmer Valderrama After running into each other at the Paramount Studios lot in L.A., Moore and Valderrama – who dated from 2000 to 2002 – just had to document their impromptu meeting with a sweet selfie. “Sometimes you get to work on the same lot as your friends and you can run over, catch up and watch them continue to be a bad-ass (in real life and on TV),” wrote Moore, whose sentiments were echoed by Valderrama in his own post. “Love this guy. Friends for over 16 years. Congrats on @ncis.cbs, @wilmervalderrama! Can’t wait to watch you this Fall!!” 7. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy Despite calling off their engagement in 2014, Hudson and her rocker ex put the past behind them to celebrate Christmas – or, as the actress calls it, “Ex Mas.” Hudson posted a goofy snap of her and Bellamy, with whom she raises 5-year-old son Bingham. Kate Hudson “From our #ModernFamily to your #WhateverKindaFamilyIsYourKindaFamily we send you much love and blessings on this Christmas Eve,” she captioned the post. Close
