Adam Lambert released his new single “Welcome to the Show” Thursday – and it appears his time on the road fronting Queen may have inspired him sonically. With its moody production and confidence-radiating lyrics, the dramatic, slow-burning anthem is akin to a modern take on the glam group’s classic “The Show Must Go On.” Lambert, 34, covered the Queen cut often while traveling with the remaining members of the band on their massively successful joint tour. The American Idol runner-up will return to his reality competition alma mater Thursday night to make his live debut of the single, which features Swedish star Laleh. Close
