Bridgerton Star Phoebe Dynevor's Fiancé Cameron Fuller Shares Her Sweet Reaction to Surprise Proposal

Phoebe Dynevor's engagement was an emotional moment!

On Sunday, May 12, the 29-year-old Bridgerton star's fiancé, fellow actor Cameron Fuller, shared a photo on Instagram capturing Dynevor's candid reaction to his surprise marriage proposal.

In the image, the actress can be seen covering her face with her hands, seemingly overcome with emotion, as Fuller, 28, embraces her from behind. The couple is standing on the balcony of a stone building decorated with flowers.

Fuller captioned the engagement post — which Dynevor reshared on her Instagram Stories — simply, "💘."

The pair's celebrity friends filled the comment section of the post with congratulations and well-wishes, including Daisy Edgar-Jones, who wrote, "Aaaaaaah." Sydney Sweeney commented, "Congrats!!!" and AnnaSophia Robb wrote, "The cutest! So happy for you two ❤️."

After Dynevor stepped out to the 2024 Met Gala on May 6 sporting a glittery diamond ring on that finger, E! News reported that she and Fuller — who is the son of Hollywood producer Brad Fuller — are engaged. The pair were first romantically linked in early 2023 after they were photographed holding hands while walking in London.

Though they have kept their relationship private, Dynevor and Cameron have made several public appearances together. In July 2023, they took in a tennis match at Wimbledon. They were photographed sitting in the stands, laughing and chatting with each other during the match.

In February, the couple stepped out to the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards. They were photographed holding hands as they arrived at the ceremony at The Royal Festival Hall in London. Dynevor looked glamorous in a silky white halter-style gown, while Fuller complemented her in a classic black tux.

Cameron, who is best known for his role in The Last Ship, has appeared on several TV series over the years including Insecure, Into the Dark, The Goldbergs and Foursome. Alongside his acting work, he also runs the popular YouTube channel Gregg and Cameron with Wizards of Waverly Place alum Gregg Sulkin. The duo's video content includes challenges, vlogs and celebrity cameos.

Dynevor, meanwhile, revealed in January 2023 that her Bridgerton character, Daphne, would not be returning for the Netflix series' upcoming third season, set to premiere on May 16 — though she teased that Daphne may make future cameos.

"Sadly, not in season 3. Potentially in the future," she told Screen Rant about her character's presence in the series. "But season 3, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer."

After starring in the 2023 film Fair Play, Dynevor has several new projects in the works including two thrillers: Anniversary, also starring Diane Lane and Kyle Chandler, and Inheritance, also featuring Rhys Ifans (of Notting Hill fame).
